Thalia has found belly dance to be a beautiful expression of art and is pleased to to bring this treasure to your special party or event. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to study and take workshops from some of the best instructors from all over the world, including Ava Fleming, Raqia Hassan, Amir Thaleb, Nourhan and Yousrey Sharif and most recently, Lotus Niraja.
In 2006, Thalia had the privilege to audition and be selected to study and perform with the Niraja Dance Company and dance at Rakkasah East. She also had the opportunity to be a member of Sharm El Sheik, an authentic Egyptian folkloric troupe, under the artistic direction of Atef Hassan. She continues to regularly educate herself in her dance training through private instruction and specialized workshops.
Arabic dance is a beautiful, artistic and rich dance that is enjoyed by the entire family. Thalia can provide family friendly entertainment for your next party, wedding, or corporate event. She incorporates a variety of props including, but not limited to veil, cane,and zagat (zills or finger cymbals).
